  I do not believe that my blog meets all the criteria on the rubric. I say this because I know I can do better, however, I have trouble completing them all the way. For example, I know that I can do better at the required word length and citations. One aspect that creates stress is finding reliable sources and writing what I found without plagiarizing. I do try my best to make sure that work is done, even if I end up procrastinating, I still want my work to be done well. Furthermore, I don’t mind if others are able to read and see my work. I would rather for people to see what I have to than not to see and hear me at all. There is one thing I would like to go over more and that’s finding more reliable sources to use for assignments and projects. One thing that I learned about blog writing is that it takes time and can’t be rushed.

  The Costa Rican culture is very diverse having Spanish colonial influences, Jamaican, Chinese, and many other cultures. However, males are referred to as Ticos, whereas females are referred to as Ticas. Costa Rica has a population of about 5 million people. The common language of Costa Rica is Spanish. Costa Rica’s diverse heritage is imitated through their music called Calypso and Reggae. Many techniques are used in their Afro-Caribbean music. A few important instruments of theirs are the xylophone-like percussion called the marimbas, banjos, and drums. Almost anyone that visits Costa Rica would like to experience the Afro-Caribbean musical culture during one of their several festivals throughout the year. One event that is held by the Foundation for the Development of Art and Culture, is the African Diaspora.   Hello everyone. My name is Lolleek Curtis. I'm currently a Film major studying to be a Director within the film industry. A few things about myself, I love Anime and Disney, I'm willing to watch anything that people recommend to me. While I'm willing watch any recommendations, I'm also willing to give some for any genre or certain feel.
